Enhance your products with Raex® structural steel, engineered to withstand extreme loads. Our structural steel is a reliable support for various structures and ensures optimal performance and longevity, making it the smart choice for your structural applications.
Raex® S690QL is a structural steel with a minimum yield strentgh of 650 Mpa. Raex® S690QL meets the requirements of EN 10025-6 for the S690QL grade.
Raex® S690QL performs well in the workshop thanks to its good cutting, welding and forming properties. This originates not only from the clean steel practice that Raex® S690QL is made of, but also the narrow tolerances and the consistency of the product. Clean steel means improved performance when welding and cutting the material, and the narrow thickness and flatness tolerances make it easier to handle in the cutting machine and when bending the piece.
Raex® S690QL is available in thicknesses of 6.0 - 60.0 mm and width up to 3300 mm as plates in length up to 12 meters.
1) For transverse test pieces.
2) For both longitudinal and transverse direction.
1) Unless otherwise agreed, transverse impact testing according to EN 10025-6 option 30 will apply. For thicknesses between 6 - 11.9 mm, sub-size Charpy V-specimens are used. The specified minimum value is then proportrional to the cross-sectional area of the specimen compared to a full-size specimen (10 x 10 mm).
2) Other options are available after special agreement.
Tolerances according to EN 10029 Class A.
Tolerances according to EN 10029.
Tolerances according to EN 10029.
Tolerances according to EN 10029 Class S (steel type H).
According to EN 10163-2 Class A, Subclass 3.
The delivery condition is Quenched and Tempered. The plates are delivered with sheared or thermally cut edges.
Welding, bending and machining recommendations can be found in brochures at www.raexsteel.com or consult Tech Support.
The properties of the delivery condition cannot be retained after exposure to temperatures in excess of 580ºC.
Appropriate health and safety precautions must be taken when welding, cutting, grinding or otherwise working on this product. Grinding, especially of primer coated plates, may produce dust with a high particle concentration.
