Enhance your products with Raex® structural steel, engineered to withstand extreme loads. Our structural steel is a reliable support for various structures and ensures optimal performance and longevity, making it the smart choice for your structural applications.
Raex® S700MC is a structural steel with a minimum yield strentgh of 700 Mpa. Raex® S700MC meets the requirements of EN 10149-2 for the S700MC grade.
Raex® S700MC performs well in the workshop thanks to its good cutting, welding and forming properties. This originates not only from the clean steel practice that Raex® S700MC is made of, but also the narrow tolerances and the consistency of the product. Clean steel means improved performance when welding and cutting the material, and the narrow thickness and flatness tolerances make it easier to handle in the cutting machine and when bending the piece.
Raex® S700MC is available in thicknesses of 3.00 - 10.00 mm and widths up to 1550 mm as coils, slit coils or cut to length sheets in lengths up to 12 meters.
The mechanical properties are tested in the longitudinal direction.
1) If ReH is not applicable then Rp0.2 is used. On thicknesses >8 mm the minimum yield strength may be 20 MPa lower.
2) For both longitudinal and transverse direction.
1) Impact testing according to EN ISO 148-1 is performed on thicknesses ≥ 6mm. The specified minimum value corresponds to a full-size specimen.
2) Default impact testing is in -20 oC.
1) Default silica level is 0.15 - 0.20 which fullfills category B for galvanizing.
Tolerances according to EN 10051 2/3 Category D.
Tolerances according to EN 10051.
Tolerances according to EN 10051.
Flatness tolerance is 6 mm/m and fullfills the requirements in EN 10051.
Flatness guarantees only apply for cut to length sheets.
According to EN 10163-2 Class A, Subclass 3.
The delivery condition is Thermomechanically Rolled. Sheets are available in as rolled surface condition with mill edge.
Welding, bending and machining recommendations can be found in brochures at www.raexsteel.com or consult Tech Support.
The properties of the delivery condition cannot be retained after exposure to temperatures in excess of 550°C.
Appropriate health and safety precautions must be taken when welding, cutting, grinding or otherwise working on this product. Grinding, especially of primer coated plates, may produce dust with a high particle concentration.
